We’d argue you can’t find a better pairing than pizza and craft beer. So we’ve put both together in our beer crust pizza dough for the ultimate tap-room experience at home. Adapted from our much-loved original pizza dough recipe, this version uses flour high in protein for light and crisp crusts, and olive oil and craft beer for a flavoursome bite. Create anything from a classic pizza to a stuffed calzone, either using an indoor oven (turned up nice and high) or if the weather allows, your alfresco pizza oven.

How to Dough It
Leaving the dough in the wrapper, defrost in the fridge overnight, or at room temperature for at least 4 hours. As the dough comes to life, you’ll notice it rise and grow a little - this is completely normal.
Bring your dough to room temp (so it’s super stretchy) and crank up the oven to 240˚C/ Gas Mark 9.
Dust a work surface, rolling pin and baking tray with flour
4. Stretch n roll
Stretch, roll and shape your dough into a rough, rustic, sorta-circular shape.
Transfer the base to your floured tray, and top it off with a few of your favourite things.
Until the crust is golden brown, and delicious (around 8-10 mins).
“Great Pizza Dough, makes a lovely thin and crispy pizza base, best I’ve tried.”
“My dream product. Beautiful, active dough which comes back to life once it has been defrosted, meaning I always have wonderfully fresh pizza dough to hand, with no effort. So much fun shaping and topping pizzas with the family – this is what I’ve been searching for!”
“If you haven’t got enough time (or inclination) to make your own dough then this is about as good a substitute as you can buy. Great dough that will do you 2 x 12″ pizzas with a gorgeous thin crispy base. One tip is to work the dough into shape with your hands rather than rolling pin as it keeps as much air in the dough which rolling squeezes out.”
“With an overnight thaw in the fridge and plenty of time to rise before assembling the pizza, this will make a delicious base! I baked mine in an oiled, hot, cast iron frying pan and I was very pleased with the result. Good value, especially as it two individually wrapped servings that can stay in the freezer until you are in the mood for pizza.”
“This is fab dough, quick and easy to defrost and prepare and makes great authentic pizzas in our pizza oven. Love it!”
